Mmoexp Path of Exile 2: Atlas Passive Points and How to Get Them

In Path of Exile 2, Atlas Passive Points are crucial for enhancing your endgame experience, allowing you to tweak your maps for more rewards. Here's a breakdown of how to earn them and optimize your progress:

How to Acquire Atlas Passive Points

From Nexuses of Corruption:

30 Points: These are earned by completing Nexus of Corruption. For each completed Nexus, you'll earn 2 Atlas Passive Points. You'll need to complete 15 of these, increasing the Waystone Tier as you progress (starting at Tier 1, then Tier 2, and so on).

How to Start: Begin by locating areas of Corruption on the Atlas. To earn your first two Atlas Passive Points, clear the Nexus of Corruption with a Waystone Tier 1 that has at least 4 modifiers. You will then face a Corrupted Boss, and after defeating it, you'll be rewarded with a Crystalline Core of Knowledge, which grants you the points.

Important Note: Failing a Nexus means missing out on the points, and you will need to find another Corruption area to try again.

From Unique Maps:

10 Points: These are earned by completing Unique Maps for the first time. Each Unique Map completed grants 2 Atlas Passive Points, and you can earn points for completing 5 different Unique Maps.

How to Identify Unique Maps: Unique Maps have a distinctive orange icon on the Atlas, which makes them easy to spot. Completing a Unique Map for the second time will not give you additional Atlas Passive Points, so be sure to explore different ones.

Unlocking More Atlas Passive Points

After completing your first Corrupted Nexus, continue to hunt out more Corruption areas on the Atlas. Look for red tendrils or corruption icons to spot more opportunities. This will allow you to progressively unlock 30 Atlas Passive Points.

These points can be spent on various Atlas Passives, which "juice" up your maps, adding modifiers and increasing the likelihood of specific League Mechanics (such as Expedition, Breach, Strongboxes, etc.) appearing in your maps.

Optimizing Your Atlas Progress

Waystone Tier Progression: You'll need to use higher-tier Waystones as you advance. Each completed Corrupted Nexus requires a higher Waystone tier, so keep improving your Waystone modifiers as you go.

Fracturing Orb Rewards: After completing a Corrupted Nexus, you'll also get the chance to farm Cleansed maps, which may drop Fracturing Orbs-one of the most valuable currencies in the game.

By clearing Nexuses of Corruption and completing Unique Maps, you will steadily unlock the Atlas Passive Points required to fine-tune your endgame farming strategy!
