There is no indication that we will be advancing

Yet, I have to say that Diablo IV Gold absolutely everything I have seen from and heard about Diablo 4 has looked fantastic and is exactly what I have been expecting to see from the game.

There is no indication that we will be advancing into something that seems like a terrible idea similar to the Auction House, and barring any sort of Error 37 issue with the launch, I have trouble seeing why this game isn't going to be a major smash at a time that Blizzard is in dire need of one.

I do have some difficult to believe that an April 2023 date is going to stick. It's a Triple A game production. You can almost bet that the date of the announcement for a new game, no matter how confident the developer appears to be, it most likely, it will be delayed at least once.

Let's call it the "Starfield" standard. And in Diablo's case, it has extra Blizzard drama to it, like the loss of its lead during the course of production. So no, I would not be shocked If Diablo 4 was pushed into summer. I would guess that one month from now, when Diablo 4 is officially announced, perhaps these plans from April could even be modified.

All of this happens against the backdrop of Microsoft seeking to buy Activision Blizzard for nearly $70 billion. The deal is battling for approval in a number of countries. While Call of Duty is the main focus, the idea is that in theory, a Microsoft-owned Blizzard will release games for consoles as well as PC editions of Diablo 4 on Game Pass, the way they do with their entire collection.

This is in contrast to Call of Duty, where past Sony agreements could prevent that from making it available to Game Pass for a few years, there's no way to know if anything similar applies to Diablo and it could be Diablo 4 Gold buy an enormous win for Microsoft.
